Tedious Details

You now have most of the knowledge you need to write a paper by yourself, but you have little questions like what font, what margins, and etc. What makes an MLA/APA paper itself, the tedious details in format and such. First of all, the headers are different from most papers. Also, these rules apply throughout your entire paper, so yes it doesn’t change. However, the MLA header is very simple. On the upper right hand side of your paper is last name space page number. There are no commas, periods, nothing just last name space page number. And the margins are half an inch from the top one inch from the left and right. Next, is the font.
The font as well remains the same for most of your paper. You have one font, one size, one color no crazy or cute fonts in your paper. As boring as it looks, the pt. size is 12 pt. font. Though there is an exception, your footnotes are 10 pt. font. The font type is Time New Roman no exceptions. Your font is not bold, italicized, underlined, or etc. As always, there may be exceptions to this rule, though it is rare. Lastly, your whole essay is double spaced.
