Chapters
For a better understanding of chapters, just pick up any book, your essay is divided exactly the same way. There are many styles in division to divide and organize essays; MLA/APA research paper format divides the vast amount of paragraphs with chapters. Chapters aren’t clearly represented in your outline, but they are there. Each Roman numeral in your outline is one chapter. And each capital letter is a paragraph within that chapter. Do not put chapter one next to your Roman numerals. The chapters are already well represented by your Roman numerals, so don’t. Chapters in your essay, is a bit different from chapters in your outline, as said in the beginning, it is divided the exactly the same way as a book is.
Should you ever get confused, go back to the basics, a book. Not only chapters need to be represented in your outline, they need to be seen in your essay as well. And unlike your outline they are clearly represented. Once you have translated your outline into an essay you should have many paragraphs, keep in mind that each paragraph is a capital letter in your outline. They are divided by the Roman numerals they were written from. While translating your outline into an essay it is suggested you do the division there and then. Sifting through the paragraphs later would be agony, so it is not suggested.
